You are not the same person although it is the same poem

I get traumatized and thus every formerly simple sentence becomes complicated

But thank God, I am coping to an extent

My first true appearance1 after the passing of nine generations

I am sorry I was late to write you the first letter

The thoughts were not yielding balanced sentences

The Earth has begun to perish and thus everyone has gone totally mad

The planet became [drowned in] darkness and started to become silent, machine after machine

The worse the situation gets, the more precious my lines become in their eyes

If Quraysh was only comprised of elite leaders,2 religion wouldn't have spread between them

Everything is relative but the differences agreed

upon the fact that a disappearance due to high proximity is not a disappearance3

I read two interpretations here. The first believes that this refers to situations where people get desensitized to something to the extent that they feel it disappeared. A good example on this line would go this way: If you bring your hand too close to your eye, your brain will be unable to actually tell that it's a hand. Thus, proximity creates the illusion of disappearance. Therefore, he'd be saying that we have been desensitized to corruption or tragedies to the extent that they became like the hand, too close to discern.

The second says that the fact that something is getting smaller due to moving away does not mean it is disappearing. i.e: If you ignore disasters, that doesn't make them go away.4. i.e: things are relative5. i.e: my art is spontaneous and not rigorously structured6. This is a metaphor meaning that the song is an experiment taking us a 1000 years into the future. This way it cures the audience by showing them the truth. They no longer have to plant their heads in the dirt and ignore the truth like an Ostrich. Not sure if this is universal however, ostriches symbolize cowardice and/or being misguided in Arabic13. This entire section is a metaphor (and in my opinion one that is blown of proportion) symbolizing the singer's efforts to save the audience from trashy and meaningless music by directing them to the truth through his own more refined art. The drowning child is art; the heathens (and at an earlier verse Quraysh Leaders) are the people who insist to listen to trash. Jesus, Moses and Jonah all represent the singer.14. i.e: Art lives on even if the artist dies.15. i.e: lived,experienced..etc
