I found a lot things actually

That I ask myself

I found the man

Who listens to others far too often

Who protests too little

Against injustice and violence!

I fond the doubter

Who often lacked courage

And found the friend

Who had friends

And a lot of fun

In this world.

I found the king

Who sits comfortably on his wealth

As well as the beggar

Who lives on the brink of despair!

I found the harlequin

Who laughs with all his heart

So you don't discover

How many things cause him trouble.

Searching for...

I found the child

That even today wants to believe in fairytales

That screams for attention

For warmth, love, and feeling.

I found the young man

Who rebels

Who stokes fire

And nevertheless cannot pass through walls

And gives up.

I found the dreamer

Who floats contentedly through the clouds

And while doing so

Digs himself into a pit of illusions!

I found the man

Who has loved you for years

Even to this day

And yet you are unable to recognize it!

While searching for myself

I found traces again and again

And when put together

I realize, it is me after all!
