Night has fallen

over my eyes of sorceress,

of starfish, of sky, of full moon,

of heron lost in the sand.

Night has fallen over my eyes,

I've lost my feathers, I cannot fly,

I've left children and nests behind,

caresses, tenderness, on the sea...

I only know how to fly inside myself

in this dream of mine to embrace

the endless sky, the sea, the whole earth!

And I carry inside me the sea,

with the sky I live in dream and dream I shall to the end,

'til I wake no longer...

And so, I'll cross this sky and this sea again,

I will fly, I will fly endlessly around the whole earth!

I would weave nests of moonlight and then,

I would sleep upon the sand...
