I was born without being asked

And I thought that they would sing lullabies to me,

With the songs of the heart and with the truth

But they kept on telling me fairytales

I was growing up and facing the world

But I found every road closed off

And everyone said to me that my life was ahead of me

But they never let me spread my wings

I realized a little before the age of twenty,

That I had to win over myself before I lost myself

And so before I became a pawn on the chessboard,

I became free like the wind

A lot of people promised me other things and gave me something different. But even if they hurt me, they made me stronger. They deprived me of everything I really loved. But they couldn't take my soul, they didn't defeat me

I was born without being asked

They wanted to lock me up in their prison

They wanted me to become their lost idol,

A little better than themselves

They years went by but I wasn't living

I was trying to find myself

And so, before I reached the age of thirty and went crazy,

I took life into my own hands
