More than seven mountains I’ve crossed

Dwarves I haven’t seen until now

I wandered through dark forests for days

But the witch has hid her house very well

Frogs I found many but no kings yet

Red caps are many – but without wolf

Straw to gold with spinning wheels has never worked

No princess on a pea – no rain of thalers

Sometimes from Grandma or Grandpa

Nowhere princes – no knigts – where are dragons?

Where are pirats who do wild thing

Mother Hulda surely doesn’t shake the snow out of her pillows

The emperor without clothes I haven’t seen anywhere

Seven-mile-boots can’t be bought in a shop

Though they would be so nice, then I could walk faster

After all these stories I come to the end

That everthiny written down
