Between what was and what will be -

A bowstring of time.

From "was" towards "will be" people stride

Yet the time laughs at us once again -

The steps and the days are numbered,

Upon the golden clock-face of Sun,

Above the pendulum of the Moon.

Days like ships leaving berths

Forever, but I know

How to start again all that was,

Returning things on their course.

And I take out the Arrow of Love,

And I bring up my bow.

And I break the straightness of bowstring,

And the bow bends into circle.

Now "was" and "will be" are closer and closer,

Seems I have the upper hand.

But fingers slipped, like people into abyss

And the arrow went into eternity...
