Welcome again to our hamlets,

welcome here, you blissfull summereve,

with leaves and grass over all the beaches

and yellow flowers in the green fields,

over all the mountains and fjords everywhere.

The last sunglare have sunken in the ocean,

the first comes soon over the low pit,

a day is lit, before its put out,

and eve and morning runs completely together.

Soon the rested flock of birds wakes up

and greets the morning with joy.

Then the sun rise towards the long turn

and sets over everything.(?)

Come, let us enjoy time, as it exceeds,

and remember, that it exceed unusual fast.

With every day, with every evening, one suffer through

a step towards the soft winter is done.

There will be a day, in which every flower, that exist,

falls off, and such a fall is huge.

Then I will watch the flower, before it wither,

and enjoy the summer, before I'll miss it.
