Soneto Destruido [English translation]

Perhaps right on the curbside of a road

A couple will kiss with disturbance

And destiny will suddenly separate them

Between 2 to 3 A.M.

Maybe the cold moon will uninvent them

And will only bring them shadows and nothing else

And in the exit, they will only find the entrance

To the night tunnel in front of them

Maybe then the faces will become distraught

Maybe after in gray and solitude

The daybreak will bring grief, maybe the clouds

Will stick their loins to the ground

Perhaps for not daring, no one deserves

What they've lived through. Perhaps dawn won't come.
