With blood-stained hands

With a tear on the face

A smile on the lips

To rise even from the dirt

Deeply soiled and prous at heart

Waking up to life anew

And waking up quite new in life

Are my hands blind and dumb?

Are my eyes old and weak?

Has my heart succumbed to blood?

And with all this only honest?

Am I human? - Am I pain?

Am I the tear -

And the kiss at the same time?
