I wanted the light of May to flow

into a dark room

I grabbed the bandage on [my] eyes

the one that brought the darkness

The light flowed, it spilled on walls

swum in between [my] eyelids

and pictures of little windows

reflected from [my] eyes

On that day I hung

around café tables

it was spring after a long time

I was making a letter

And I scratched an itch

with the tip of my pencil again

and so

I wrote: "how I wish you'd already look

at my blue eyes"

The days went on, the cafés closed

now it's dark already

soon I'll drift to my winter sleep

and it'll be even darker

From the little windows I looked at

you, a promise of May

you left me with empty stomach

next spring I'll go crazy

And I scratch an itch

with the tip of my pencil

and so...

Now snow is falling down slowly

I see winter dreams about you

My insides dream of spring

and in spring I'll wake up again

Again one is following another

I open my eyes more shyly

Oh why don't I see better from those

windows of mine
