Train to New Orleans [Russian translation]
Train to New Orleans [Russian translation]
Take me away to New Orleans,
Going on Monday evening rail,
Through the Mississippi darkness
The stars are shining bright.
On the way the way to New Orleans,
I get this Cajun feeling.
When I get to New Orleans,
Somebody's gotta treat me right.
I remember the night down in Bourbon Street
And I feel like I go insane
Yeah I remember the kiss by the riverport
And we were dancing in the rain
I remember that night down in Bourbon Street
Where the stars on the sidewalk shine.
Jambalaya and crawfish pie made that day 1
Makin' gumbo, bringin' home red wine.
Take me away to New Orleans
To see my queen, Oh baby!
Through the night of Alabama,
Can smell of engine steam
On my way to New Orleans,
I can feel the wheels are runnin'.
On the way to New Orleans
If feels so heavenly. 2
I remember the night down in Bourbon Street
And I feel like I go insane
Yeah I remember the kiss by the riverport
And we were dancing in the rain
I remember that night down in Bourbon Street
Where the stars on the sidewalk shine.
Jambalaya and crawfish pie made that day,
Makin' gumbo, bringin' home red wine. (x2)
1. please note, I am from the Southern US (South Georgia), however my Southern Accent and her Southern Accent are not compatible and this was hard for me to figure out what she was saying there, but it sounded like pie 2. This is what I could make out, I'm sorry if some parts don't make sense. I would hate a Northerner to do this with their perfect Northern accents...oh wait...their accents are even stupider and more exaggerated. Have you heard a Minnesotan, eh?
