I know, it sounds like a verse from kafana 1, but you have to tread a road,

you have to look everywhere if you want to reach your goal.

Rumour has it that you're a brand,

independent, ideal type.

But that is an obvious deception.

As for me personally,

these are all but empty stories.

Because you, you are an ordinary flower, a little bunny ready to run

but everywhere is winter, wind and snow and crazy hunters.

I know, but how to change the world, no one cares about it,

everyone sticks only to his own, everyone does his own thing.

1. "kafana" is term used in most Balkans countries for a distinct type of local bistro (or tavern). This concept originates from Ottoman period, and the word "kahvehane" comes from Turkish "coffeehouse". Nowadays kafana in Balkans usually refers to a place where alcoholic beverages are served, and often also light snacks (meze) and other food. Many kafanas feature live music performances. Here in song "kafanski stih" refers to a verse from such songs played in kafana.
