Last sighs of the earth in the darkness of a starless night,

Misery in the arms of darkness – what see the frightened eyes.

The heroes of the passed times, who sleep in the forgotten mounds

Have seen, that the world is ruled by alien faith and glory

These – the sleeping forefathers of Slavs, who gave life to the native believers,

Raise a voice to Gods, shouting, through the gray sky:

“We pray and ask in your name, descendants of the powerful and glorious,

For the faith to come back, here, where it used to be!

We were lost in the battle for honor, for faith, for Russia and freedom!

Descendant, are you still here? So fight for the faith of the nation!

For faith, existing in us, for faith, which did stand with Russia!”

The mighty heart of the Slavs anxiously pressed to the chest.

Hey, forefathers! We hear your call, through the night in the darkness, or in the untroubled dreams!

We hear, through rustle of the winds and see, that Russia was taken over by pitch-black darkness,

But soon a time will come, which has passed into eternity.

We’ll go back again and will revive our faith FOREVER!!!
