Quantum Leap will come back for Season 2 at NBC with two new series regulars: Peter Gadiot and Eliza Taylor.

One of the few scripted projects returning to broadcast TV this fall amid the Hollywood strikes, Quantum Leap is a sequel to the 1989 to 1993 NBC drama of the same name and set 30 years later after Dr. Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. In the new series, Raymond Lee stars as Ben Song, who makes an unauthorized leap into the past, leaving his team behind to solve the mystery of why he did it.

Taylor will play Hannah Carson, who is described as a complex young woman who may be more than she appears and will be introduced in Episode 3.

Gadiot will play Tom Westfall, a U.S. Army Officer, former special forces, who is now high up in Army Intelligence. He is described as thoughtful, centered, a spiritual kind of warrior who both men and women admire, but whose humility keeps him from ever being arrogant and will take on a crucial role overseeing the Quantum Leap project.

Gadiots prominent credits include playing James Valdez in USAs Queen of the South and Cyrus in ABCs Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. More recently, he played Adam in Season 1 of Showtimes Yellowjackets and Shanks in Netflixs One Piece. He is repped by Gersh Agency, Industry Entertainment and Hansen, Jacobson, Kaller, et. al.

Taylor is best known for starring in the CW sci-fi series The 100 as Clarke Griffin and the Australian soap opera Neighbours as Janae Timmins. She is repped by Verve and Fourward.

The Season 2 premiere, which airs Oct. 4, will feature guest stars Melissa Roxburgh (Manifest), Francois Arnaud (Plan B, Blindspot), Aaron Abrams (Hannibal, Blindspot) and P.J. Byrne (The Boys, Shazam! Fury of the Gods).

Quantum Leap is executive produced by Martin Gero, Dean Georgaris, Deborah Pratt, Chris Grismer, Alex Berger, Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt. Universal Television produces in association with Quinns House Productions.
