As a result, the participants find themselves connecting over the shared experience of learning dance.

Audiences will see them work to overcome a handful of personal struggles over the course of their time together. One dancer tries to discover themselves outside the label of learning disability, while another dancer struggles with the loss of their child.

These personal events are all documented, as the subjects are asked to record themselves and their journeys. The documentary is designed to appeal to anyone regardless of dance experience.

Cochran serves as director, editor and producer, with Chris Hajian (The Infiltrator) composing.

In a time when society can feel divided, two of the events that help foster community are sports and music dance entails both, said Cochran. The mission behind this project is to highlight the power of community, and inspire audiences that its never too late to embrace the unknown and branch out of their comfort zone.
