Cores do Vento [Colors of the Wind] [English translation]
Cores do Vento [Colors of the Wind] [English translation]
If you think this land belong to you
You have lot more to learn about it
Because each and every plant, rock and creature
Is alive and has a soul, is a living being
If you see that only people are alike you
And the others beings aren't worthy
But if you follows the footsteps of a stranger
You'll find a thousand of surprises around you
Have you ever heard a wolf howling to the blue moon
I wonder if you've ever seen a lynx smiling
Are you able to hear the voices of the mountain
And to paint with the colors of the wind
Running along the paths of the forests
Tasting the flavor of the berries
Rolling in much riches
You'll never be able to calculate its worth
The moon, the sun, and the river are my relatives
The heron and the otter are just like me
We are so connected to each other
In the arc, in this neverending circle
Where is the tree going to?
If you cut it down, you'll never know
The wolf will no longer howl to the blue moon
Our skin color don't matter anymore
Let us sing with the beautiful voices of the mountain
And paint with the colors of the wind.
You will only be able
To enjoy this land
If you paint with the colors of the wind
