Dulce Condena [English translation]
Dulce Condena [English translation]
Every time that I hit bottom a little,
every time that time flies,
a memory that doesn't fade,*
another illusion that comes.
Every heart deserves an opportunity,
and she is lost alone in the middle of the city.
I'm the one who thinks it for the two of us
until the sun comes out.
Every sensation or vulgar feeling
a single thing, a single place.
a memory that doesn't fade,
would be like starting again from zero.
Every heart deserves an opportunity,
and she is lost alone in the middle of the city.
I'm the one who thinks it for the two of us
until the sun comes out.
The problem doesn't matter,
the solution doesn't matter.
I'm staying with the little that remains
whole in my heart.
I like problems,
there is no other explanation; **
this really is a sweet sentence! ***

a sweet surrender.

* "un recuerdo más que pasajero" = "a memory more than passing".. I think "a memory that doesn't fade" sounds more natural in English
** "no existe otra explicación" = "no other explanation exists" .. again I thought "there is no other explanation" sounded better in English
*** "ésta sí es una dulce condena!" .. the sí adds emphasis to the verb and is hard to translate, so I said "really" but it's not a perfect translation
