1. Pohjola is location in Baltic Finn mythology. In Kalevala it was usually place of evil and enemies of the heroes. In some occasions it is also source of all evil, cold and sicknesses or alternative name for the Finnish land of the death and root of all magic, Tuonela. 2. Kirjo/Kirjoa "multicoloured/to colour"3. Taivaankansi, "Lid of the Sky"4. Kiimottaa (old, poetic) to glitter, to shine 5. this could be translated either "island of my family" or "my family to an island". It could even be both at the same time 6. In finnish mythology the Northern Pike is symbol of magic. Väinämöinen, Finnish national hero made his magical instrument, kantele, from jawbone of a huge pike. 7. this could also translate into "conjure"8. this could also translate into "third owns my whole family" or "third belongs to my whole family"9. most likely refers to the colour of the wolf, or possibly the pike 10. old common reference to horse, sometimes deer11. a type of pike fish, also known as water wolf. 12. could also translate to "lost soul"13. Tuoni is Finnish goddess and Queen of the Underworld. The word tuoni is also used as poetic word for death.
