Känkkäränkkä [English translation]
Känkkäränkkä [English translation]
Once upon time there was a little evil witch called Känkkäränkkä
She amuses herself by eating raisins and by hitting her stick
She is so small that the adults can't see her at all
But it certainly visits in children's homes
If Känkkäränkkä comes at night, children can't sleep at all
Because Nukkumatti really, really fears Känkkäränkkä
(Eek!)
When Känkkäränkkä comes to dinner, she muches her raisins
And makes the food in children's mouth taste bad
You can visit our home, Känkkäränkkä, but [only] when it is the Känkkäränkkä Day
Of course it is nice that children have their own hook-legged witch
But don't come too often, Känkkäränkkä, come just once a week
Because you put all länkkälönkkä, and Mom blames the kids
When the have to go preschool in the morning, the children are in fury
Because Känkkäränkkä tells them to put their shoes on wrong feets
(Oh, Känkkäränkkä!)
Känkkäränkkä urge children to break others' toys
And she happily knocks with her stick when she can make kids to fight
(Hih hih hih!)
And behind the all is just a little evil witch
