Colourful markets, shiny watches,

Feathered roosters, balloons on sticks,

Wooden butterflies, rocking horses,

Cotton candy and gingerbread houses.

So many things now behind me

Faded fall is now coming

By now so much passed by

By now so much to miss

We become small things

Together in our remembering

Maybe instead of a heart I carry

An elaborate gingerbread, because what I miss the most are...
