To six-horses carriages

The horses hang with the hoofs

in the air

Harnessed to the carriages on parking

they doze

Every carriage painted

in three vivid paints

And three horses’ colors:

like ceiling

like oak

like carrot

Shuddered slightly madonnas

And a hundred horses procession

Moved on the hoof

Turn around and around long curled manes

And fancy borders of the saddles

And flamboyant designs of the carriages

of laurels and flowers

And in each carriage face to face

Madonna and madonna

In frozen position stuck

Leaning back from the child

-white horses

-carriage

-black horses

-carriage

-carroty horses

-carriage

Magnificent, non average !

And they in Leonardo faces

in Raphael’s gyrations

In balls of fire,

In cages of lines,

In suburbs and on Sundays.

And in each carriage face to face

Madonna and madonna

And nobody knows which one is asleep,

and which one is inspired
